A restaurant in a small town near Hidden Leaf Village.

"Hey did you hear it seems that Lady Tsunade of Hidden Leaf is throwing a massive tournament involving all vilages. Winner will be promoted to Sennin rank and will have the oportunity to create a law to which all villages must obey no matter how ridiculous it is" says a man in the bar while drinking some Sake with his friends
"I tell you if I was younger I´d show all those cocky ninjas who´s the man"
This conversation catches the ear of a young man with long silver color hair that was in a near by table enjoying his meal. He quickly finishes, pays and grabs his bag and leaves.
A tournament involving all vilages eh? Seems like a great oportunity to prove once and for all that I am the strongest ninja in the world. And I´ll probably find her there as well the ninja thinks to himself. He leaves the restaurant and heads out of the village when all of a sudden he finds himself surrounded by thougs with knives.
"Hand over all your money and we´ll spare your life"
The ninja grins "What makes you think you can kill me?" he says to the thugs. One of the thugs charges at him to stab him with his knife. the ninja throws his bag up and slams his palm on the attacker´s face projecting him back and grabs the bag as it falls. The other thugs stare for a while and all charge at the same time. The ninja whistles as he throws his bag upwards again but this time a blue wolf catches it in mid air. The thugs charge at him all at once with their knives but the ninja easily dodges and slams his palm into every single one of them causing them to faint. The leader of the thugs watches as his minions all fall at the hands of one man.
"That´s it" He says with an angry tone "Now you die by my hand" He draws his katana and charges. The ninja raises his left hand and charges some chakra on two fingers. As the blade reaches his hand he uses those two fingers to stop it. The tough leader tries to release the blade from the man´s fingers but it is futile. Then with a swift movement, the man breaks the blade in half. The thug leader falls and asks the man "Who the hell are you?"
The man throws the broken blade to the floor and replies "I am Ryu Hyuuga of the Hyuuga clan of Hidden Leaf" After these words he once again whistles and the blue wolf carrying his bag appears. Together they leave town and head for Hidden Leaf

Tori was nearby watching the whole thing, he smiled slightly another of the Hyuuga has appeared it seems he thought to himself be careful, the gentle fist style of the Hyuuga clan is not something you should take lightly came a reply in his head, he knew it was the Thunder Demon Raiju, I know, this isn’t the first Hyuuga we’ve encountered he thought back to his families connection to the Hyuuga clan and his own connection to members like Neji, Hinata and even Hanabi the youngest of the main branch of the clan, he followed Ryu at a respectable distance, since he knew he was headed for the Leaf Village, the same as himself.

Zane Inirozuka had also seen the confrontation, he had been impressed by the cool way that the Hyuuga had handled himself. So that is how the Hyuuga fight, I have not seen anything like it before..not that I would...it is their closely guarded family secret. I must be ready to defend myself against this technique, so I must study it every chance I get. He took a long braid of his blond hair and gently threw it over his shoulder, "I deffinatly don't need to do that around other ninja...." He laughed softly to himself and continued along the road to the Hidden Leaf village.

Upon arriving at Hidden Leaf, Ryu looked around. It had been years since he left the village and yet it seemed like nothing had changed. It was still the same as he remembered it. He looks towards the Hokage´s mansion and sees a huge line at the entrance. Looks like the tournament has attracted alot of attention. I don´t sense her presence though so I suppose she is not here yet...I should head home it´s been years since I´ve been with my family..."
He heads for the Hyuuga mansion. He arrives quickly and enters the mansion. One of the servents comes to the door. "Yes may I help you...my lord can you be...master Ryu?"
"Yes indeed it is me. Is my father here?" he asks the servent "Yes he is in the back training with lady Hanabi I will announce your arrival"
"No need for that, this will be a short visit" he heads fo the backyard. there his father Hyuuga Hiashi and his little sister Hyuuga Hanabi were training hard. Hiashi's training method was harsh but young Hanabi seemed to take it rather well. Suddenly Hiashi notices Ryu watching them and interupts the training. "Is that you my son?" Hanabi looks back and her eyes almost light up as she sees her big brother. "Nii-chan" she says as she runs to her brother to hug him.
"I missed you Nii-chan"
"I missed you too Hanabi-chan.And you as well father."
"Come let us go inside for some tea and we can talk some more" Hiashi says as they all enter the mansion

Meanwhile back in the line a boy with ice blue eyes and medium sandy blonde hair stepped up to the front of the line. He gently ran his hand through his hair to remove the stray strands from his vision. His sleeveless vest rustled as he bent low to sign his name on the entry list.
The official smiled and checked the registration. "Thank you mister....Nakini." Lady Tsunade had happened to walk by at that precise moment and overheard the comment. She immediatly had the boy by his arm and proceded to drag him to her office. "Did i just hear that your clan name was nakini?"
"That is correct mam." The boy nodded without much of a expression change.
Tsunade sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "I though it was clear that the nakini were forbidden to leave Chisiogakure. We have these rules for the protection of the nations."
"That may be mam, but i need to fight and win this tournament." he replied.
"Only this once. Afterwards you return back to the village of blood." She huffed.
"Thank you lady Tsunade." He bowed and departed from her office, his chain gently clanking on his hip with every step. He exited from the building and sheilded his eyes from the suns harsh beens that assaulted his eyes. "I need to win for the freedom and honor of the nakini." He stretched and proceded to the ramen shop.

Zane was also waiting in the line to sign for the tournament. He hadn't been waiting long, since he had just arrived, it was the first thing he wanted to do. It took maybe two hours before he finally was able to sign his name to the list. Lets see, name Zane Inirozuka....Hidden Waterfall village....Jounin....I think thats it. He finished and nodded to the official who looked down at the paper and smiled, "Thank you mister Inirozuka." Zane nodded and walked off, he hadn't the slightest clue as to where to go or what to do now. His stomache gave a grumble and he laughed softly, "Guess I'm hungry..." He headed towards what looked to be a restaraunt.

Tori casually entered the village and spotted Hinata heading away from the Hokage mansion “Hinata!” he called out and raised his hand to wave, she stopped and smiled at him before coming over to talk “Tori! Did you just get back from another solo mission?” she asked, Tori shrugged “it was a simple recon for the Hokage, I think she just wanted me to make sure the news of the tournament reached all potential fighters” Hinata tilted her head slightly “will you be entering?” Tori nodded “I’m already registered for it, Lady Fifth insisted i be classified as a Jonin because of my powers, I told her I was still a Genin, so we met halfway and I got classified as a Chunin for the tournament” Hinata smiled and nodded “I think she just wanted things to be fair, if you were classified as a Genin every overconfident fighter might gang up on you from the start and they wouldn’t last very long” Tori chuckled “you may have a point” he replied, then he remembered “by the way, guess who’s back?” Hinata blinked for a moment “who?” Tori grinned “Master Ryu!” Hinata’s eyes widened in surprise and joy “my brother’s home!?” Tori nodded “I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s there right now” Hinata bowed slightly to him “thank you” then she turned on her heels and headed down the street towards the Hyuuga family mansion, Tori chuckled “I get the same reaction from my mom when I come home from a lengthy mission” he said to himself as he walked down the road a ways to his favorite Ramen shop, as he stepped inside he noticed several new faces with unique headbands “things are gonna get crowded around here soon enough” he whispered to himself as he took a seat and ordered some Miso Ramen and Red Bean Soup.

Back at the mansion Ryu, Hanabi and Hiashi sit arround the tea table and the servent began to pour some tea on their cups. As they begin to drink the tea Hinata rushes through the front door and stops at the entrance to the living room. She stares at the scene panting from all the running.
"Nii-chan..." she says trying to recover her breath "You´re back..." her eyes almost glow as she sees her brother. It had been six years since he had left to see the world. Ryu gets up and walks towards his sister.
"Yes I am back Hinata-chan. I came to participate in the torunament and win, thus proving that I am the strongest ninja in the world"
Suddenly Hinata wraps her arms arround Ryu hugging him tightly "I missed you so much ni-chan" she says to him
"I have missed you too Hinata. Come join us for some tea" Hinata nods and they both sit at the table while the servents pour tea
"So my son you must tell me all about your journeys"
Ryu takes a sip of his tea "I have seen many things, met many interesting people and learned many techinques throughout my journey. I became stronger and winning this tournament will prove this once and for all"

Zane was contemplating over the menu that was hanging on the wall, "I think...maybe..chili ramen will be fine thank you." He watched as the cook rushed to fix it, there were several cooks making many types of ramen, "I had no idea Ramen was this popular."

Ryu tells his father and sisters of his travels and of all the people he met and of what he learned. Then Hinata notices that there is a blue wolf sitting by the window of the mansion watching Ryu. Ryu notices this and says "Don´t worry sister, that wolf his my friend. his name is Simimaru. I saved him as a cub from some hunters and since then he has been following me everywere I go. He has helped me countless times, Well I should go and register for the tournament and train a bit before it starts. Best be prepared for everything"
Ryu finishes his tea and prepares to leave.
"Will you be entering the tournament as well Hinata-chan?" Ryu asks
"No...I have some missions to do"
"I see...that is a shame. Well I must be off then. Be sure to come watch the finals"
"I will. Oh by the way Tori is here too. He´s also entering the tournament. I think he´s at Ichikaru Ramen right now."
"Oh what a surprise. I should go see him it has been some time since we've been together. Well I´m off goodbye for now father, Hanabi-chan, Hinata-chan. Oh and if you happen to see Neji on your missions send him my regards will you?"
Ryu then exits the mansion and heads of the Hokage´s mansion to register for the tournament. By now the line was much shorter and he didn´t have to wait much to register. He fills out the papers and hands them to the official.
Well I guess I should go see Tori and enjoy some of the best Ramen in the world he thinks as he heads for Ichikaru Ramen

Tori looked over at the entrance when he noticed someone enter, he raised his hand into the air and waved Ryu over “welcome home bro!” he called, even though his family didn’t have any relation to the Hyuuga Clan he still thought of Ryu, Hinata, and Hanabi as siblings, and even referred to them as such when he was in a good mood “have a seat and grab some grub” he smiled at Ryu and offered him the seat next to his.

Ryu seats next to him."Thank you brother. It is good to see you, how have you been?" Ryu asks as he calls to the waiter and orders some Miso Ramen

“I just got back from a small mission for Lady Fifth, she wanted me to make sure the word about the tournament was spread far enough to attract the best fighters” Tori replied “she even convinced me to sign up, I think it was so that would be plenty of betting going on” he grinned “I know you enough to know that you’d have signed up” he took a sip of his Red Bean soup “especially with the grand prize being what it is”

Ryu takes a sip of his Miso soup."Indeed, I have signed up as well. The prize is good but the main reason I entered is to prove that I am the strongest ninja in the world. I haven´t even thought about what rule I am going to make. Have you given any thought to that yet?"

“good question” Tori answered, he thought for a moment “being named Sanin is enticing enough for me” he grinned as he took another sip of his Red Bean Soup “to be honest I’d be happy if I survive to the Finals” he chuckled slightly “but as to a rule... I’ll have to think on that one”

"I suppose we´ll have time to think it over once all the fighthing is done. For now let's just enjoy the best Ramen in all of Hidden Leaf, perhaps best in the world. In all my travels I have yet to find better Ramen" Ryu says as he takes a big sip of his Miso soup

Tori smiled “I’ll drink to that!” he chuckled as he raised his cup and drank some more of his red bean soup.

"Aye" Ryu says as he also drinks some of his Miso Soup. "So when we are done eating would you be interested in some training before the tournament starts?"

Tori set down his cup “sounds like a plan” he smirked “you’ll be able to see how strong I’ve gotten since the last time we practised together” he took his chopstick in his hands and snapped them apart “I’m curious to see if well still stack up the same way, you’re gentle fist versus my lightning strike”

"I too have improved much in the past years.I have learned many jutsus and greately improved my Gentle Fist style"

Tori spoke in a low voice so that only Ryu could hear “Raiju has taught me several new ways to use his Thunder Chakra” he slurped up some of the ramen noodles “he has helped me harness his strength in way I didn’t know before”

"Interesting, I have to see that. Well I have learned a jutsu that was once used by the First Hokage. It is a devastating techinque that was thought to have dies with him."

“I’ve heard the rumors, working for the Fifth lets me hear all kinds of things” Tori replied “my parents have even trained me in how to use a jutsu supposedly only known to shinobi from the Hidden mist village, they said that since they knew it, I should use it too” he took some more noodles from his bowl and slurped them down.

"Well it seems we have both learned secrets during your travels. this tournament promises to be very very interesting indeed"
Ryu finishes his soup and pays."So brother shall we?"

Tori drank down the broth of his ramen and stood up, leaving his payment next to his empty bowl “this is the perfect way to follow a meal of ramen” he replied as he walked with Ryu side by side “a little workout with family” he grinned, it had been a long time since he and Ryu trained together, they always had a talent for pushing each other to their limits and beyond.

"So were should we go for our training?The forest of death or the good old training academy?"

Tori looked at Ryu gave him a wry smile “the forest of death might be a bit rough on someone who just got back from travelling for six years don’t you think?” he knew that Ryu was more than capable of handling the forest, he just like ribbing him from time to time.

"True but if I want to become the strongest ninja in the world I have to be able to handle things like that don´t you agree?"

Tori looked at him for a moment “there’s a fine line between wanting to be strong and shortening your lifespan you know” then he just looked at the floor and smiled while shaking his head “just no helping a fool I guess” then he looked at Ryu “the forest of death it is” he turned and faced Ryu and did a comical bow “Shall we be off?”

"You needn´t worry so much, I know my limits" He says as he signals Simimaru to follow them "Well let us be off then"

A short while later they were standing outside the Forest of Death, a Jonin was standing near one of the many gates and saw the two approach, he held up a hand “and where do the two of you think you’re going?” he asked in a commanding tone, Tori recognised him as one of the Jonin who usually go with him on some of his mission, Tori grinned “relax!” he said calmly “my friend and I plan to use this area to get a little training in before the tournament” the Jonin looked them over before stepping aside and allowing them to enter “try not to level the place” he whispered to Tori as they passed, Tori smirked slightly “no promises” Tori could tell that his reply did little to relax the Jonin and Tori snickered to himself.

Ryu looks arround the forest a little bit "Just as I remember it nothing seems to have changed. Man this brings back memories" Ryu begins to recall his youth and the days where he and Tori would sneak into the forest of death to play hide and seek. "Remember when we were little and used to play hide and seek here? And that time when Hinata got lost in the forest and we had to go look for her?"

Tori gave Ryu a wry look “she only got lost because you brought her here and she got spooked and ran off” he chuckled “we looked all over the place and we nearly freaked when we couldn’t find her anywhere, I was certain that your dad was gonna kill me” he scratched the back of his head “remember how relieved we were to find her hiding in a tree outside the forest?”

"Yeah I definitely remember that. I still got a severe scolding from father but since no harm came to her it wasn´t too hard on me. He still made me train really really hard for a week"

“and my mom wasn’t all too happy with me either” Tori added “my body was sore for a week at least after that” he let out a small laugh “and we vowed to prevent history from repeating itself when Hanabi was born”

"Indeed I would never let anything happen to my little sister. Well then shall we get our training underway?"

Tori grinned as he took a few steps away from Ryu “time to see how we stack up now” he turned and faced Ryu, clenched his fists and allowed his lightning Chakra to flow through his arms and legs, this was the power of his Lightning Strike Taijutsu, every blow and kick that makes contact not only delivered regular damage but the electricity was also sent into his opponent, the shocks were strong and he could alter the level of lightning he could inflict on his opponent, he decided not to draw his Kodachi just yet, he wanted to see what Ryu would do first.

Takato smiled and rubbed his palms together as the large order of shrimp ramen was brought to his seat. He nodded graciously to the cook then started to peacefully dig in.
"So you here for the tournament?" He asked.
The chisiogakure ninja simply nodded his head between bites.

Zane was staring hard at a glass of sake a total stranger had just purchased for him. He had finished off his ramen in record time, and had been contemplating on what to drink, when an older man slapped him on the back and ordered him, and himself a glass of sake. He was now staring at the drink not sure to drinkt it or to refuse it.

Takato nodded at zane. "Hey buddy, if your going sit there and watch it ferment pass it over here."

Zane raised his eyes to Takato and nodded, he slid the glass down the bar to the other male. "I hope you enjoy it. I am not much of a drinker, at all actually."

Takato shrugged and took a swig. "Me neither, but a good booze every now and then helps."

Zane nodded, "I would agree, but seeing as I have never had any I couldn't. My name is Zane Inirozuka, nice to meet you." He grabbed his two long braids of blonda hair and angrily threw them behind his shoulder. "I will kill my sister....." He said quietly. How I ever let her do this to my hair..I'll never know...

"So...did you lose a bet, or do you have a bit of a dedaria complex?" Takato joked remembering the info and picture he had seen in his bingo book. He took another swig and sighed enjoying the buring sensation running down his throat.

Zane shook his head, "I was actually trying to be nice to my sister...and of sorts it was a bet. We both had to be nice to each other, but I don't know whether she lost or won...for one, my hair isn't all over the place like it usually is, but on the other hand I'm going to kill these braids." He laughed suddenly as he realized he sounded quite rediculous.

"Nice. So where you from?" Justin made small talk while holding the bottle up and shaking it to get the last drops. "These are supossed to be slow sip drinks but they never last me long."

Zane smiled at the comment, "I'm from the Hidden Waterfall Village, I'm here to participate in Lady Tsunade's tournament..though I am wondering how it will play out."

"Eh they swarm here like flies." Justin commented refering to the tournament. His eyes rested on a group consisting of various nations. "They all probably want to prove they are the best or some crap. At leats im fighting for a reason."

Zane nodded understanding what Justin ment, "In a way, that is their reason. We all have our reasons for fighting..some of us are trying to discover that reason..which is why we're here."

"So what would yours be?" Justin finished his ramen started to rap on the counter with his chop sticks to pass the time.

Zane smiled and tilted his head to the side, "I would be one of the one's searching for a reason to stay Ninja...I'm tired of all the political crap..I want a good reason to stay a ninja, I'm hoping this tornuament can offer one, or I go into very early retirement."

Justin causully spun the chopstick in circles between his fingers. "Searching for self purpose....interesting enough. Much like a recent chuunin examine i watched." He played the conversation back in his head to recall any useful details. "The waterfall village...how has it come along since the whole sacred water incident?"

Zane nodded and blanched slightly at the incident mentioned. "It has come along way, or so we hope. The people don't like to remember that day..alot of them would love to forget it. But I remember it so I can learn from it..we should all elarn from whatever mistakes we make.." He sighed softly and played with his napkin, folding it in several different places before turning it over and doing the same to the other side.

"A whole fight over that water...well i wouldnt say i wouldnt want some myself. Tenfold chakra increase." He leasurly leaned back and placed his hands behind his head. "I never was one for much small talk."

Zane nodded, "That is true, but you'd burn out faster with the more chakra you had..which is why its a very dangerous thing..only used in emergencies." He motioned to the cook and asked for a bowl of egg-drop soup.

"Well if i dont get to fight you, good luck." Justin nodded in respect toward zane before standing up and pulling on his vest.

Zane nodded and shook his head tot he cook, canceling his order for food, he laid a dew coins on the bar as payment. "Good luck to you as well..though I think it would be interesting to fight you." He smiled and with a wave walked from the diner and onto the streets to search for an accomadating hotel.

Justin walked a few paces before noticing they were walking in the same direction. "Looking for board as well?" He asked scanning for a hotel.

Zane turned around and smiled at Juston, "Guilty! I am actually...I've never been here before so..I don't know where I'm going...or what exactly I'm looking for." He laughed softly and folded his arms in front of him.

"We are romans in Greece." Justin sighed walking by buildings scanning the names looking for a lodging. After a ten minute silent walk he stopped. "Here we have something." He opened a door to a little run down building only to find a magnificantly decorated foyer. "Welcome to the little leaf hotel." A bellhop smiled.

Zane smiled and nodded, "This looks amazing..I wonder if rooms are available..though..everwhere else is packed.."

"We have plenty of rooms available. This place is so little known, about the only way to know its here is to already know its here." The bellhop chuckled handing over two keys to adjacent rooms.

Justin grunted then accepted his key, handing over only a peice of paper with what appeared to be a intricate symbol with an odd crest on it.
"Oh thank you, please enjoy your stay."

Zane took his key with a nod, he pulled the bellhop aside for a crash course in currency of the land. Afterwards, Zane handed the bellhop the right amount and smiled widely before looking around for his room. "That was easier than I thought.."

"Yeah...to bad you gave him a 200% tip. You got hustled dude." Justin dighed walking with his hands behind his head and his bag over one shoulder. He found his room and slide the key into and turned to reveil a spacious room with a balcony over lookig the market facing the great faces of the hokage's.

Zane merely shrugged and followed Justin to his room his eyes wodening slightly at the luxury of it, "Well, it is to bee expected..not everyone is going to be kind and honest..but I can only hope.." He moved two door's down from Justins and fit his key into it. Withh a twist of the handle he was in a room much like Justins save his balcony view gave him view of a nearby pond he hadn't noticed on his way over.

He seems like a good guy...though a bit gullable. Justin chuckled and flopped down on the bed to get a quick power nap in before tsunade was scheduled to adress the contestants.

Zane sighed softly, he removed his shoes and set them against the wall, "Better get some sleep..." He jumped onto the bed, burrowing himself into the covers.

"So you are going to go all out I see. Very well I shall not hold back then. BYAKUGAN!" The veins around Ryu´s eyes swell as the Byakugan jutsu is activated. Ryu positions himself in the clasic Gentle Fist stance and charges his chakra to his hands.

Tori smirked “after all the matches we’ve had, you know I’d be an idiot to take you lightly” he replied as he he considered his options the gentle fist style can be tricky he thought since my thunder chakra come from Raiju, he can’t cut it off, but he can still cause serious damage, and that Byakugan can’t be fooled by my Hidden Mist Jutsu, so let’s see how he does against my speed he crouched down and surged straight at Ryu making it seem like he was going to attack head on.

"So then brother lets see how much you have truly evolved" He says as he dashes straight at Tori

Moments before the two were nose to nose Tori dissappeared from Ryu’s sight and appeared behind him delivering a electrified punch to the small of his back.

Ryu focuses some of his chakra on the spot where Tori´s fist hit causing him not to feel the electricity. He quicly turns back and slams his palm into Tori´s chest

Tori smirked as he felt Ryu’s strike hit his chest sending his backwards “I see you’ve learned a trick or too to defend against my thunder chakra” he called as he landed on his feet, he quickly made a few hand signs and caused his chakra to focus in his hands it closly resembled the Kakashi’s Raikari, but the chakra formed in both hands “lets see how this works” he said with a slight growl in his voice “Secret Jutsu, Thunder Claws” suddenly the Chakra collected on his fingers resembling long, sharp, Solid claws “lets try this again” he surged at Ryu with even more speed than before, he was determined to impress his brother with his control of Raiju’s power.

"Not bad brother" Ryu says as he dodges his first attack and does a few hand signs "But can you hit what you can not see I wonder. Nimpo:Unlimited darkness" .He summons his chakra creating and area of darkness around him, Tori and most of the forest of death making it completely impossible to see anything.

Tori closed his eyes “sight is only one of my senses” he said with a smirk as his nostrils flared as he took in a deep breath Raiju taught me how to track with scent alone he thought to himself as he used his nose and his ears to scan the area around him, waiting for Ryu’s next move, and preparing a counter of his own.

Ryu stood still, his Byakugan alowing him to see Tori´s chakra perfectely. He didn´t move a muscle waiting for the perfect oportunity to strike. Then with amazing speed he charges and Tori and just before hitting him, changes direction and heads another way.

Tori grinned as he clamped his hands together and whispered “Demon Arts.....Lightning Shroud” this caused Tori to envelope his Chakra in the darkness, he knew it would make it harder for him to be seen or sensed even by the byakugan while he prepared his next move.

"Not bad brother but I already know where you are. Prepare for this if you can:8 Trigrams 361 Style Taijutsu" Ryu gathers his chakra in his hands and dashes towards Tori.

“I don’t think so” Tori grinned as he leapt into the air and focused his chakra into his fists, did a quick flip and slammed his fists into Ryu’s back as he came underneath.

Ryu falls on his knees but quicly stands up and uses the 8 Trigrams 361 Style Taijutsu again this time hitting Tori with his fists all over his body 20 times

Tori takes all the hits and grins “did you forget?” he laughed as he landed nearby in a crouched position “you can’t block my chackra because it comes from Raiju, not me” he collected all his lightning chakra in his hands and created a ball of blinding light that dispelled the darkness from Ryu’s jutsu.

"My dear brother I don´t need to block it you know I can just dodge it. Now allow me to show you something I created myself. Let´s just say I was thinking of you whan I created this" Ryu makes a few hand signs and joins his hands in front of himself. the sky begins to darken as clouds gather and a storm brews. A bolt of lightning strikes Ryu who absorbs it with his chakra "Lets see if you can handle this:TWIN LIGHTNING DRAGONS!!!!!!!!" His chakra embedded with the lightning rises to the sky in the form of 2 dragons.They fly above Ryu and dash towards Tori and a high speed. As the dragons crash on top of Tori a huge explosion follows.

There was a massive cloud of smoke and debris from the force of the impact, as the smoke cleared and the dust settled Tori stood there, his enitre body covered in armor of solid electricity, a small smile was on his face, that was impressive especially for someone who didn’t use thunder demon powers. As the armor dissipated, Tori took a few steps forward “is that all you....” he didn’t even finish his sentence as he suddenly fell forward unconscious, a small trickle of blood coming from the corner of his mouth.

Ryu rushed to the aid of his brother thinking Maybe I´ve gone too far this time I didn´t mean to to hurt him that bad He turns his borther´s body around and notices he is unconscious "Tori are you ok? Speak to me"

Tori’s eyes slowly opened “I should be alright” he said weakly as he tried to sit up “I was able to absorb the worst of it, but it still hurt” he looked at Ryu with a grin “I guess I should have mentioned that Raiju taught me how to absorb Lightning style attacks” he tried to get to his feet but he was too wobbly “guess it still needs work” he said with a small chuckle.

Ryu helps Tori to his feet "That was to be expected him being a lightning demon and all"
Then suddenly a huge bell is heard. It´s sound echoed throughout the entire village "Guess this means the tournament´s about to start. We should head to the Hokage´s mansion. Can you stand?"

“stand? Yes” Tori replied “the jury’s still out on ‘walk’ though” as he took a few tender steps “Raiju should have me fighting ready by the time we reach the Hokage however”

"Good then let us be on our way we don´t want to be late yes?"

Tori nodded “yes! I mean no!” he scratched the back of his head “well you know what I mean” he turned and headed towards the gates of the forest looks like Ryu has gotten stronger in his travels Raiju said in his mind that just means it won’t be dull if and when we fight in the tournament Tori replied besides he added we still have a few aces up my sleeves he knew that Raiju knew what he was referring to, he had rarely used it on missions because the situation rarely ever called for such power, but after experiencing the twin thunder dragons technique, he knew it might be necessary for him to pull out all the stops during the battles to come, but only time will tell if he will have to call on that level of power or not.

Ryu takes Tori to the front of the Hokage´s mantion.A huge croud had gathered there for the tournament´s begining.On the roof of the mansion lady Tsunade,her aid Shizune and Jiraya stood waiting for every participant to arrive.

Justin stood up and stretched. "I guess its about time for the prelim meeting." He grabbed his bag from the chair and continued out the door and down the hall, knocking on Zane's as he went by without stopping. He strolled down the street and joined the crowd waiting for the tournament.

Tori took a step away from Ryu “I’m good now bro” he said with a little confidence, it still amazed him at how quickly Raiju could mend his body after a battle, and he was certain Ryu hadn’t shown his full power we’d best be ready for a fierce battle should Ryu be our opponent Raiju nodded slightly agreed, you must be prepared to hold nothing back in such a battle, and you know what I mean Tori nodded slightly, he was certain only Ryu would have noticed it but he was used to having these mental conversations with Raiju in front of Ryu.


"Ok everyone get the gum out of your ears and listen up" Lady Tsunade said in a loud voice so she could be heard by everyone
"here´s how the prelims are going to be: You will be give a crystal by the officials. Depending on your rank the crystal will be worth a different amount of points. Genin crystals are worth one point, Chuunin crystals are worth 3 and Jounin crystals are worth 5. You need 100 points to qualify. Also as an added bonus Jiraya and Shizune will each be carrying a gold crystal worth 100 points. Of course beating them won´t be easy. Jiraya is a legendary Sennin and Shizune is one of the fastest Jonnin we have. Good luck to you all." After these words the officials distributed the crystals among the participants.

Sweet im worth five. Justin stowed the crystal in his hip pouch and formed a metal pocket around it, connecting it directly to his body. Now the only way someone is getting mine is to tear it off my dead body, now do i go after twenty easy guys or take out the king or queen in this chess game? The girl doesnt sound to bad if all she has is speed.....wait where is Zane "So how exactly do we start this thing?"

Tori smiled as the official walked up to him “ah yes” the official said looking at his list of participants “Tori Makoto, you’re marked here as a Chunin so you get this Crystal” he held out a small crystal marked with a small ‘3’ “make sure you don’t lose it or you’ll be automatically disqualified” Tori nodded at this as he took the crystal and placed it securely in a small pocked in his pants, after he made sure the pocket was securely sealed he turned to look around, he noticed that many of the others were looking around at the other competitors they’re already sizing up the competition and figureing out who to take out first he mused to himself he wondered how many would be stupid enough to go after Jiraya and Shizune off the bat.

Ryu receives his cristal and quickly stores it away in his pouch.He looks arround sizing up his competition.Jiraya is going to be a tough one to beat.And Shizune must not be underestimated.I better get some more cristals before atempting to go after themHe thinks to himself.He turns to Tori and sees that he also has received his cristal."From this moment on"he says to tori"We are enemies.Hold nothing back against me should we meet in combat.May the best man win"He reaches out to shake his hand

Tori smiled and shook Ryu’s hand “don’t worry” he said with a wry smle “he will” he knew that the training he and Ryu had been through in their time apart would come to bear in the tournament he and Raiju would not hold back a single ounce of their true power if they wished to succeed in the coming battles.

Zane had recieved his crystal and was studying it. It had the number five in it he was finding it hard to believe that he had bee reduced to a number for people to take and add to their own. Barbaric as it may be, it must be...I wonder if anyone shall take down Jiraya or Shizune...maybe not...but it would be interesting to see. He smiled as he slipped the crystal into a small pouch at his hip. His eyes scanning the crowd, they instantly picked out Justin, who seemed to be searching for someone. Wonder who he could be looking for... He walked silently up to him tapping him on the shoulder. "Justin...?"

Justin looked over his shoulder recognizing zane. "Well speak of the devil. I have a proposition for you. You are from the waterfall village so i assume your justu is water and genjutsu based. With a cpmbination i think we can take on shizune and split the crystal." He offered. The real reason being he didnt want a water based ninja against him.

Zane thought a moment, his head working out the scenario. He had never met Shizune, but he had heard of her, she was incredibly skilled and lightning fast. With the two of them, maybe they could take her on and defeat her. He idly twisted one of the long blond braids of his hair before nodding with a smile, "I agree, we'll see what we can do against her..I'm curious as to see how it would turn out." He smiled again not aware of Justin's true intentions.

Justin held his hand out in a pact. "After that we can probably pick off the rest off these chunin."

"Ok everyone the torunament starts now. You have three days to get the points needed to advance. Now get out of here" Lady Tsunade says in a loud voice. At the same time Shizune quickly disappears and Jiraya calmly gets off of the roof and walks around town knowing that no one would be foolish enough to challange him at least not at the start.

"Well Tori this is were we part ways. Best of luck to you" Ryu says as he jumps to a roof and disappears in the horizon.

Tori grinned as he also leapt into the air and moved along the rooftops, he chose to go at only half his real speed since he wanted to find out who might go after him first, he decided to head for the Hokage mountain as it would give him the best view of the village and it might work as a good starting point for his ‘mission’.

Zane smiled and took Justin's hand in his own. "Agreed, I look forward to this.." His eyes had been watching Lady Tsunade out of the corner of his eye, and had seen Shizune dissapear quickly. "Well if we are to go after Shizune, we should head out." He said with a quick turn about, his eyes looking over the area, taking in everythying he could.

Tori neared the top of the Hokage mountain (approximately above the Third Hokage’s head) when h saw a thick fog start to surround him the forecast for today said nothing about fog his eyes narrowed as the fog rolled in even thicker, he recognized it as the Hidden Mist Jutsu, he stopped in his tracks and looked around as he sniffed the air “I know you’re there” he said in a commanding voice “and that there are three of you” then he heard one of them speak “what makes you think there are only three of us?” Tori grinned “I can smell your chakra” he said with a cunning smile “let’s see....” he continued “I’m guessing all three of you are Jonin from the Hidden Mist Village and you were sent here on orders from the Mizukage to kill me” another laughed “not just you boy, your parents too” Tori’s closed his eyes and smirked “you shouldn’t have said that”. “why is that?” the first voice asked and Tori replied “because now I can’t let you guys live” suddenly Tori’s hands began to spark fiercely as he gathered the Demon Chakra into his fingertips, as he did that he mentally marked the positions of the three ninja, he opened his eyes and roared “THUNDER CLAWS!!” he launched himself forward his eyes ablaze with lightning chakra as he buried his left hand into the chest of the first one and then propelled over to the second repeating the attack with his right hand then he saw the third charge at him with a katana drawn, ready to take his head, Tori reacted with all the instinct and speed Raiju had drilled into him during the years of training, with a single swipe of his supercharged claws, he snapped the sword in two and in the same motion impaled his left hand into the ninja’s chest, in a single smooth motion he withdrew his bloody hands from his enemies, as the lightning in his hands dissolved, he proceeded to search all three bodies and withdrew three ‘5’ crystals “15 points, not a bad start” he knew that added to his ‘3’ crystal he now had 18 points, but he knew there may be others like these three in the tournament, and they might not be as careless next time, he continued to move across the top of the mountain more alert now then ever.

"Hold on a second." Justin reached over and ripped a pipe drain from the nearest building. "Lets collect a little from the fresh meat." About ten flustered ninja wher still shuffling about the square not sure what to do. justins eyes and hands flashed as he activated his kekkei genkai. "Sembon suto-mu no jutsu!" The pipe shifted and exploded in an explosion of sembon, pinning the ninja to the walls by their clothes. He walked around and releived them of their crystals. "Lets see six threes and four ones, that makes ten four each of us." He smiled throwing Zane his share.

As Ryu walked around town looking for a fight he began noticing that he was being followed by 2 Jounin from the Hidden Sand village. He continued walking like he didn´t notice them and suddenly disappeared. The Jounins went to investigate his sudden disapperence and as they reached the spot where he diasppeared Ryu appears behind one of them and with a swift blow to the back of the head knocks him out and takes his crystal. The other one notices and takes out his Kunai knife to attack.
"You do not want to do that" Ryu advises the Jounin. "Oh but I do want. And you will not survive" the Jounin replies. The Jounin swiftly attacks but as he is about to hit Ryu he uses a substitution jutsu and disapears.
"You can´t say I didn´t warn you. CHAKRA BLADE" He gathes some of his Chakra on his hands creating a blade which he then uses to swiftly slash his opponent. He does not kill him but leaves him out of combat and claims his crystal. He now had 15 points.

Zane catches his share of the crystals and smiles, "Thanks...I didn't even lift a finger, you'll have to let me get the next few!" he said this with a smile. He slipped the crystals into his side pouch and turned towards the woods, "After you?" he said with a smile and a small bow, his blond braids falling from behind him and landing in front of his shoulders.

"No problem." Justin forced his way into the growth. He jerked a kunai from his hip and slashed a hanging vine from his way. "You sure she went this way?"

Zane nodded and walked behind him, he didn't have any kunair to help alleviate the foliage, he only ever carried his own special little weapons. Which at the moment would serve no one. Zane squinted his eyes, his ears twitched like mad, "Yes...I know she went this way..but I do belive we are not the only ones who followed her..some must think her an easy target cause she is female..at least ten others came this way, following her trail..as to who..that I can't tell you." He scrunched his face up and his nose started to tickle, qick as lightning he pulled a thick piece of material from his side pouch and covered his nose and mouth. After a second his entire body rocked violently, but no sound was heard. Pulling the material away he sighed, "One of them is wearing some type of cologn or something...its very strong stuff..." He kept his eyes moving looking into every shadow every chance he got.

Avala sat on the branch of a great tree, her back to its trunk. A while ago she’d tucked her shiny’5’ crystal into her kimono and had tried to get some sleep. It had been a long run from her village to this one and she was more than slightly tired. As soon as her eyes started to droop she sensed them, grass Ninja and a fair few of them, Avala sighed.
‘Quickly… while she’s sleeping’ She heard one of them hiss
There was a yelp which quickly followed; Avala assumed this was a slightly more experienced team- mate hushing up his comrade. Through a squinted eye she could see three standing before her on the tree branch and she could hear the other three on the branch above. The leader bent over her, his hand reaching for the crystal tucked safely into her Kimono, it was then that Avala thought it best to act.
She broke his arm with a grab which both righted her and threw him onto the thick branch with a crack. She slammed a fist into an unwary belly, downing a second, the third on the branch took a stance which Avala recognised as a fairly advanced one from the Village Hidden in the Grass. The grass ninja disappeared and quickly reappeared behind her, Avala grinned and slammed her elbow into her attackers gut, gripping him by the throat and hurling him bodily over her shoulder.
Avala chuckled to herself as she felt the other three flee, she plucked two ‘1’ crystals and one ‘2’ crystal from her fallen attackers and decided to go and have a look around. She leapt to the next tree and then the next, looking for an opponent or art least some entertainment.

Justin gave the air a few test sniffs then shrugged. "Glad i picked you, i aint picking up a trace of it. Where to big guy?" He pulled senbon as if they were strapped to his forearm. "Tell me which direction."

Zane sniffed the air again his nose twitching again. "I don't see how you can't smell it...its horrible..unless its just my sensitive nose.." He sighed and turned around several times, creating a small funnel with his body, drawing the smell closer to him. When he stopped his eyes darted left and right, and a smile broke across his face. He turned to Justin and pointed directly in front of them up into the trees and on the path before them. "It seems their group took the high and low path. I suggest you take the high path, and I will take the low. I hope you can keep up." he said with a smile. He darted forward a cloud of dust and leaves billowing behind him as he took off on the path before him, his golden braids flying out behind him.

"Great the guy laden with three tons of artillery is in a foot race." Justin sprang up and started to dart from tree to tree, doing his best to keep up with his partner. The blur of blue below him was hard to follow.

Zane smiled as he kept his pace up, if felt exhilerating to run this fast, to feel absolutly free. He turned his eyes left and right looking for telltell signs of their adversaries and stopped dead in his tracks planting his feet into the ground bringing up a giant coud of dirt. He looked up, taking note of where the sun was, "Only twenty minutes into the woods..." He looked around, his eyes catching sight of a broken twig, a swirl of dirt on the ground. He sniffed the air, and his eyes closed half-way taking on a dangerous glint, "They're near...." he said softly.

Justin had swiftly taken cover in a blind of leaves when Zane stopped he silently drew a mass of senbon and prepaired to give their quarry a really bad acupunture lesson as soon as zane reveiled their position.

Zane listened carefully, closing his eyes fully and opening his ears. The sounds of the forest around him grew several octaves and things he couldn't hear well before now he could hear as if he was right there. His eyes snapped open and he pointed to the bushes to the left of himself, his hand drifted to his side pouch, and he suddenly flew backwards in the air as a massive body flew into him sending him and the person to the ground. He flipped himself back to his feet three silver needles in his right hand between each of his fingers. "About time...I was wondering what else I could do to draw you out..besides drawing a red dot on my back."

A ninja in black without any telltell signs of rank or village in sight. Three other ninja appeared behind him, and two more flanked them. The one closest to Zane spoke, "We wondered who could have followed us this far into the woods without hitting our traps..we underestimated who would enter this contest." His rough voice grew quiet as his black eyes watched Zane.

Zane straightened and nodded, "It wasn't easy..I had to take several detours to manuver around all your traps..your a very clever bunch..but now I can see I have underestimated my opponants..." his eyes flashes momentarily to where justin was hidden then back onto the leader and his men.

Guess thats my cue. Might as well take the all out in one blow. Justin grasped the chain on his waist gathering as much ammo as possible. He sprang out of cover as his eyes flashed silver and the chain shifted form. "Senbon malestrom no jutsu!" He flung the lump of metal as it formed a inumerable amount of senbon. There wasnt a clear inch in the line of fire to hide.

Surprised by the attack from behind four of the enamy ninja went down in a heartbeat. But the leader and the one beside him had formed some kind of shield made of earth, without uttering so much as a word. The leader looked from Justin to Zane, his eyes evaluating the enamies before him. The ninja to his side, though was fliiping a small kunai into the air waiting for the cue to attack.

Zane blinked in surprise his eyes wide for a hair of a second. He didn't think it was possible to perform any type of jutsu without saying words or doing any type of a hand sign. His eyes slid to Justin, "What was that...do you have any idea?" he asked in confusion, though his hand still held three long needles.

Avala watched Zane and Justin battle the other Ninja from above on the branch of a great tree. She was mildly impressed but didn't want to interfere as of yet, for now she'd decided just to enjoy the show.

Tori was now moving across the rooftops with lightning speed, his senses were on full alert, he had just recently passed his parent’s home to warn them about the possible attackers and they had agreed to stay at the Hyuuga’s for a while, he had given them a note to give to Lord Hiashi to inform him of the situation, and now that that had been dealt with he was now moving through the village to seek out allies and targets.

Justin landed beside Zane in a crouch, collect senbon that were at hands reach. "Could be a genkai like mine." The needles shifted and formed metal plates around his hands for ready taijutsu. "Now we wait?"

Zane nodded his mind zooming forward with thoughts and strategies for a fight with the leader and his remaining ninja. "They might be like you, except their abilities lie with the earth. I myself...and you with your metal..might just make for an even fight." He smiled and turned to face the two ninja, his eyes moving left and right taking in their stances, and their bodies. "I will take the leader if you do not mind, and you may have his friend..lets move...now." In the blink of the eye Zane was standing beside the Leader bringing his knee to meet the mans gut, which sent him backwards.

The Leader growled in frustrtion, he hadn't even seen the young man move. He is fast...he is very fast..well...that won't matter. He pulled a kunai from his pocket and raced at the blonde ninja.

The second ninja smiled at and gripped the kunai he had been flipping in his hand, he ran at Justin throwing the kunia, but after several handsigns, hundreds more of the kunai appeared in the air as they hurtled toward the young ninja.

Justin, while he himself was slow, his limbs wre like weapons themselves as his fist lashed out in a flurry of jabs deflectin every kunia even if they were bunshins. He spun whilr catching two and hurled them back at his assailant. He followed this attack up with a split second ground covereing haymaker aimed right at the ninja's face.

The ninja raised his arms and the kin darkend so much that it looked like rock, he brushed the two kunai aside as if they were nothing more than petals falling from a tree. He glanced to see his teacher fighting the blonde ninja and was rewarded witha haymaker to the face. He flew backwards twenty feet and toppled out of site into some brush in the forest, his grunt of pain and surprise slowly fading to nothing.

Zane tossed one of the needle to his free hand and threw one of the others in his hand at the Leader, he now had two left, one in each hand. He jumped into the air, his body arcing gracefully till he was above the Leader, he threw the two needles down not bothering to watch if they imbedded into his neck as he had planned. As he landed something heavy slammed into his back knocking him head first into a tree giving him a cut above his right eye. The weight disapeared form his back and he rose slowly, taking the time to wipe the blood from his eye before turning to see the Leader wuth the two needles clutched in his hand and the third one embedded in his shoulder, "It seems you are far stronger than I thought.." he said slowly.

The Leader smiled in victory, clearly the young ninja had underesimated him and was now paying a small pric. But tha was only one thing, the cut above his eye, now he had to pay for the death of his men, and that could only be extracted through his life. He grunted as he pulled the neeldle from his shoulder and tossed it with the others to the ground beside him. "Yes..you did. Now I will show you what it is to be truely underestimated." He closed his eyes and and presed his hands together before him, he chanted a soft mantra over and over in his mind gathering all his chakra, and even calling on the chakra of the earth around him to fuel his next attack. Soon the air around him was pulsing with the energy, sending small waves of air rolling from him.

Zane's eyes opened wide, he didn't like where this was heading. The amount of chakra that thi man was pulling towards him was dangerous, even if the man was a jounin. He pulled a single needle from his side pouch and held it in his hand, he closed his eyes for a brief second then gathered his chakra and threw the needle with all his strength. He made several hand signs and threw his chakra with the needle, "Thousand needles of Death!" His one needle seperated and became another and then another and soon a wall of needles was hurtling towards his enamy, but they all had a glossy sheen to them.

The Leader opened his eyes and smirked, he couldnt make out what the young one said above the roar of his own chakra but he knew a clone jutsu when he saw one, he gathered his chakra and built the pressure up, and in an instant he was in a sphere of compressed chakra tha was impervious to his knowledge. He pushed the wall out sending it in every direction, and what it met be in a branch, or a leaf, it was cruhed under the pressure of his chakra. He watched with satisfaction as the blonde ninja shouted to his friend to move away from the wave of his chakra, he aimed his chakra right at the blonde ninja, and sent it out like a tidal wave. As it crashed away from him he hear several dull thunks and he turned down to look at his body. ALmost every inch of him was studded with a needle, blood pooling at his feet, and the strength ebbing from his body. He grew angry, and that anger fed his chakra, and it crashed into the blonde ninja slamming him ino a tree snapping it in two on top of him. With him out of the way he turned his eyes to Justin, and focused his dying chakra for another attack, enduring the pain of his dying body to strike this last apponent down.

The tree Avala had been watching from blew into splinters benath her feet, this was knew, she thought. Avala wasn't sure whether to help Justin and Zane at this point and make allies or continue to watch, she landed heavily in the small rocky crater where the tree had been moments before. She shrugged to herself, she decided to leave it up to this lead ninja, he would decide what her enxt move was. Her face a mask of calm composure, Avala hopped out of the crater, making sure she was plainly visible to this needle covered ninja. Now she would wait and see what he would do. 

"Your so out of your league. Chear chakra is useless if you dont know how to use it." Justins hands bkurred as he performed a flurry of hand signs. His hands burst into a glow of silver as his chakra surged through his metal clad palms. He assumed rock lee's fighting stance and waited for the attack from the near death ninja.

The Leader sensed a new arrival and tore his attack in two, and the ferocity of it made it all the more deadly, without even looking behind him he threw the deadly wave of chakra at the girl, and pushed it with extra force as it neared Justin sending it faster and harder. It was withing inches of him when his body began to falter, his vision darkening, he cursed silently as his attacks kept going but he would not and he slumped to the ground.

Avala's expression didn't change when she moved, but her mouth seemed to curl into a smirk as she hopped back into the tree's crater, pressing her body to the shattered ground and letting the chakra wave crash harmlessly against the rocks above. Avala laughed quietly to herself, such power was as good as useless raw like that...

Tori had neared the forest when he saw a small explosion further in what the?! he thought to himself, he decided to see what was what, a short time later he spotted an interesting battle between some of the shinobi he saw at the start of the tournament this should be interesting keeping his distance so they wouldn't see him but he could see them clearly, he planned to see what these guys could do, in case he runs into them later.

"Ryzoku Shell jutsu!" Justin smiled snapping his fingers finishing his jutsu. The metal embedded int the ground around him lept up covering his entire mody in second skin of absolute protection. He was like a statue in his taijutsu stance as the wave of chakra tore around him leveling the nearby area. This justu destroys living matter, but im like a butterfly in a cacoon right now. Ugh....but man that took a lot of chakra.

Tori reacted on instinct as the wave of chakra rushed at him “thunder arts” he said in a rapid tone as he made a few quick hand signs “lightning wall” sending a counter wave of electrified chakra towards the chakra wave and protected himself from it with relative ease, he knew there was a good chance his move had given him away so he tried to reposition himself by moving to a new hiding place before anyone realize he was there.

The wave of chakra leveled an area roughly up to five miles in every direction of the now dead ninja. The wave slowly faded and dissipated and all became quiet again.

Zane groaned and opened his eyes. His head was ringing loudly and he felt as if a mountain had been thrown at him. He gently moved his fingers and toes first, then moved his arms and legs. Everythig ached but nothing appeared to broken, just bruised. He groaned again and pushed himself up on one arm, he oepend his eyes slowly and surveyed the area around him, there wasn't a hint of the forest for at least a couple of miles in every direction. His eyes widened as he saw Justin with what loked like a suite of armor on standing no far from the dead ninja. But aside from that there was a girl not from him, he was slightly disoriented but he managed to work his way to his feet. "Some damage...hope Lady Tsunade doesn't make us pay for it.." he said weakly.

The metal drained from justin's skin. He looked vailant standing there in a crater, then his eyes rolled back as he fell back in exaustion. " Huff, cough....Half your chakra and however long you can hold your breath....so not worth it. How you holding up zane?" Justin sauntered over to the center crater with a bit of difficulty and fished the somehow unscathed crystals from the debre.

Zane grimaced and brushed dirt off his clothes, "I'm fine...but I feel like I got run over by a mountain." He said softly. His body felt heavy and clumsy, as if he were drunk. He shook his head and pulled a small white stick from his side pouch and broke it under his nose. Instantly his blurry site sharpened and his lethargic body started to respond better. He coughed and rubbed at his nose wishing the stick smelled better. "Yuck...salt stick..." He wandered next to justin and coughed again, and then nodded at the fallen ninja, "What rank were they all..if you say anything lower than jounin I'll kick you.." he said with a smile, but a serious tone.

Tori chuckled as he heard the exchange between the two reminds me of some of the arguments Ryu and I had when we were kids he mused as he watched them, out of the corner of his eye he spotted a kunoichi laying in a small crater what could she be doing there? he wondered.

Justin prepaired for impact. "uh...one five and three threes." He flinched.

Avala sighed, hopping out of the tree's crater and dusting off the earth which clung to her white kimono with a slight irritation. She saw Zane and Justin and decided to watch just for now and wait for them to see her, she didn't want to be attacked without warning again.

As Ryu gathers some more cristals after defeating some more ninja he feels the wave of Chackra rushing by him before it dissipates.Such power he thinks to himself. He rushes to the area were the wave originates and sees Zane and Justin there. He also notices a kunoichi near a crater and decides to just watch for now wating to see the outcome of the events.

Zane groaned and smacked his own forehead, "There should be a rule against people having such powerful chakra!!" He sat down and sighed. He was tired but given a few moments rest he would be back in shape in no time. His eyes turned around looking at the damaged area around them and spotted a girl by the crater where he had landed. He gave a slow nod and turned his attention back to Justin, "How many ninja are here do you think? I want to say two...but I'm tired right now and may be off..it could only be the girl over there, I thought I had seen someone earlier but I could have been mistaken..oh I'm not going to kick you...I was playing..."

Tori nodded I’ll admit it, these two seem impressive he thought to himself as he remembered the power of that chakra wave from earlier, he knew these two would make powerful allies, but whether they would be open to another ally remained to be seen.

Justin's hair prickled. "Maybe...but there is a huge amount of lightining chakra around here. I can feel it as a double earth chakra type. Its..estatic." He had the strength to continue fighting but he needed a sec to catch his breath.

Avala was content to keep waiting, she watched Zane and Justin patiently. After the initial shockwave of chakra had passed and her senses had returned Avala began to sense other, powerful ninja closeby.

Zane nodded and stood up, stretching his arms above his head he got the blood flowing to his limbs. "Well I'm guessing we can either stand around all day or continue looking for Shizune? What do you think?" He asked turning to look at Justin.

Tori chuckled to himself these guys have guts to go after Shizune-san right now he thought to himself.

"Yeah but listen," Justin Stood up letting his chakra invigorate his muscles. "I have a plan. Shizun uses a spring loaded senbon gun generally. Ill take that on you concentrate on slowing her down and containing her."

Avala had to hider her smile, it would be so easy to follows these two and just jump them when they started to attack Shizune but easy wasn't always fun. She sighed and approached Justin and Zane, bowing her head slightly as she got closer and keeping her hands away from her sides and possible weapons.
'Greetings...' She said 'I'm Avala, I saw you take down the ninja with the chakra wave, it was very impressive...'

Justin immediatly had a long katana formed an inch from her nose. "Avala is it? Why approach a duo after a hard fight? Dont think you pick our crystals off." He had jumped the gun as usual and assumed the worst.

Tori decided now was as good a time as any to show himself, using some of his lightning chakra to enhance his speed he leapt from the tree and landed not far from them “something tells me if she wanted to take your crystals she would have done it when yo were unaware of her location” he said calmly as he approached them, showing no signs of malice or intent to attack them, he grinned at them “my name is Tori, I’m a shinobi of the Hidden Leaf” he pointed to his leaf headband on his arm “I barely managed to deflect that chakra wave earlier and I have to say it was very impressive”

Avala hadn't even flinced when Justin had thrust the katana under her nose, her expresion didn't shift from calm composure but an odd light burnt in her eyes.
'Yes, had I wanted to take the crystals I could have done at any number of moments without announcing myself to you' She said, ice in her tone 'Please remove that weapon from my face before I do it for you...'
There was a hint of wanring in her tone but she made no move.

"I knew you where here" Justin directed the comment to Tori. "The air tingles with electrons." His focus was now on Avala. "Pardon my rudeness, i am not very trusting. Zane is she safe to tust?" He lowered the bade a fraction of an inch waiting for his teammate's answer.

Zane wondered when he had been given the title of leader and turned a critical eye on Avala. "Well...I don't recognise you from any wanted posters." He took a step forward and stretched his arms above his head an rested them there with his hands on his head. "I don't see any reason to not trust her...or Mr. Lightning over there..their both fine. It is a pleasure to meet you Avala and Tori. My name is Zane..." He gently placed his hand on Justin's sword and lowered it away from Avala's face. "The chakra wave wa powerful...I only managed to dodge it cause I was trapped under a tree...though I didn't expect that after I covered him in needles..." He stroked his chin thoughtfully and shrugged, "It doesn't matter I just hope we aren't punished for the destruction of the forest."

Tori chuckled “you’d be surprised at how fast the forests of the Hidden Leaf Village can bounce back” he scratched the back of his head “and besides, Lady Fifth planned for entrants with powerful abilities and even possible deaths” his smile didn’t leave his face as he spoke “there are ANBU black ops all over the place making notes of every battle but forbidden to intervene, only observe”

Justin shrugged and retreated the blade into a lump of steel, which he placed in his side pouch. His face sidenly changed as he got right up next to tori almost in his face. He ment no harm. Justin took one finger and slowly brought it to Tori's shoulder, Justins hair on his arm immediatly shot up, his hair to. "Yep definatly a lightning chakra type." He smiled. "Im justin, tori, avala." He nodded in a greeting.

Avala managed a small smile but otherwise her expression didn't change.
'I had to retreat to a crater, my fighting style only really has one defensive jutsu and it would have had no effect on such raw power...' She grinned, showing a little tooth 'Did I hear right, are you going to go after Shizune?'

“I have more than a few defensive Jutsu’s but the only one I could think of was my Lightning Wall technique” Tori explained then he turned to Zane and Justin “it does make sense to go after Lady Shizune in numbers, she’s fast, a skilled Medic and has ANBU training to boot and then there's the fact that she’s been Lady Tsunade’s Right hand for sometime” he counted off each of these points on his fingers “who know’s what lady fifth taught her during their travels”

Zane nodded, his eyes taking in the two ninja that had joined them and a slow sile spread across his face, "What you say is true Tori...greater numbers is always a good thing." He turned his slow creepy smile on Justin and nodded, "Isn't that right Justin? Greater numbers?"

Tori could hear Raiju’s low growl in his mind be careful! the thunder beast cautioned in his head there’s something about these two that don’t feel right Tori noded ever so slightly, he agreed with Raiju’s warning and decided that when around these two he’d best stay on guard.

"Greater numbers also means less points per split. Might as well take down the senin." Justin added witha bit of sarcasm.

Avala clasped her long fingers in front of herself, she hadn't reqally expected to find allies in this place but it seems she had. Letting her hands wander to the golden eye pendent lying across her breast she wondered what her father would have done. He would have wanted her to survive and to win for her clan she decided.
'Greater numbers AND coordination...' She muttered 'What are all your fighting styles?'

Zane nodded the smile sliding off his face as he slumped himself onto a tree stump. "Thats true...less points..but there is always the Senin...and I have no idea about that..." His eyes caught what appeared to be a miniture movement with Tori's head as if he was nodding, but he ignored it thinking the light was playing with his eyes. Pulled a ponytail from behind his head and played with it, twirling it around his fingers, "Water based Jutsu...I'm from the Hidden Waterfall Village...Zane Inirozuka..at your service.." He cocked his head at Avala and smiled.

Tori grinned “thunder demon style is my speciality” he held up his left hand and allowed a string of electricity to arc from his fingers to his thumb as if to emphasize his point “Tori Makoto of the Hidden Leaf at your service”

Justin sighed. He didnt like the idea of telling his strong points and weaknesses to ninja he might have to fight later in the tournament. "Justin Nakini, village hidden in blood, kekkei genkai and metal based jutsu."

Avala nodded, having heard of some of their fighting styles vaguely.
'Lady Avala Esper of Tia-Tian, I'm a member of the Kheytyan clan and fight using Millenium Style, which basically means I like to hold my oponent with long range or summoning Jutsu and then destroy them at close-quarters' SHe smiled thinly 'It work better than you'd think...'

Noticing the gathering of ninjas Ryu decides to make his presence known by apearing in front of the group.
"Well well isn´t this a nice gathering?I am Ryu Hyuuga of Hiden Leaf´s Hyuuga clan"

Tori glanced over at Ryu and smiled "hey Bro!" he exclaimed "when did you get here?"

Zane glances around at the others around them, taking measures of what they said their abilities were, when Ryu appeared he nearly jumped out of his skin, A Hyuuga? Not good...I don't think I could beat him..but maybe if Justin and I both attacked him...but for the moment, all's peaceful...and we have no need to. "Its a pleasure to meet you all!" zane said with a wide smile.

Avala bowed slightly to Ryu, acknowledging his presence but little else. She'd heard of the Hyuga clan is passing but she'd never seen one fight, she'd heard they were formidable though. Perhaps that would be something to investiagte at some point, perhaps.

"A hyuuga? If this wasnt a competition id kill you where you stand. The Uchiha's, Hyuuga's, all the overhyped clans. Its their fault the Nakini are forced to live conceiled and forgotten." Justin struggled with his cool before breathing himself down. "But for the time being ill side with you."

"Well well isn´t this a surprise i thought the Nakini were not allowed to leave Chisiogakure. But this sure will make for an interesting challenge"

Zane watched Justin and then the Hyuuga, this isn't something that he had in mind. He placed a hand on Justin's shoulder, "I hate to keep everyone for so long, but it's time me and Justin went on our way..we still have to catch up to Shizune, and maybe then we'll think about going after the Old Sage.." He was throwing the old sage idea out there to hopefully distract everyone so he could pull Justin out and and get on their way.

Avala raised an eyebrow and Zanes sudden desire to leave. Was he scared of Ryu? Avala supressed a chuckle and very slowly moved one of her hands closer to the pouch which contained her kunai knives. her expression didn't change and she didn't intend to attack, just wanted to be ready if someone got 'offended'.

Justin nodded and followed Zane off. But before he entered the woods he turned, "Avala...you have kind eyes, and feel like you can be trusted. Tori eyes are soft on the edges and cold at the center, there is something deeper in you. And Ryu....." Justin turned back to vanish but could be audible. "...The hardness of a hyuuga but forgiving brows."

Ryu lets out a small chuckle"They are fools if they think they are a match for Jiraya-sama.I know what he can do all too well.And as for Shizune...one should not underestimate her either.SO tell me Tori how many crystals have you gathered so far?"

Tori shrugged his shoulders casually “not many” he said simply “I was a little busy dealing with a few assassins sent from the Hidden Mist village to kill me and my folks, so I wasn’t able to get as many as I’d like by this point” he sighed slightly “how about you?”

Avala let her hand fall away from her weapons pouch, no longer seeing the possibility for conflict. She turned to Ryu and let her lips curve into a cold smile.
'So just how good is a member of the fabled Hyuuga clan?' She asked, resting her hand on the pommel of her sword.

"I have gathered a few"he says"and i think i just might be ready to take on Jiraya-sama."
He then turns to Avala"Not to brag or anything but i am undefeated"

Zane sighed and took a deep breath as he walked ahead of Justin, "Lady Shizune isn't that muc farther, I'd say another hours walk. I can smell the medicinal herbs she carries in the air around us." He swept a long ponytail behind him and looked back over his shoulder at Justin and smiled.

Justin huffed, long walks always made him tired. Especially when you carry around an extra hundred pounds of metal. "Well lets het going, your better company than most."

Tori grinned “how about I help you defeat Jiraya-Sama?” he said with an eager look on his face as a few small sparks shot from his eyes and dispersed in the air “we should have no trouble if we work together and combine our efforts” he pointed out deciding to leave Shizune to the two loners.

Avala tightened her grip around the pommel of her sword.
'Interesting.' She said, 'I would very much like to test that record. I would very much like a quick 'friendly' sparirng match. If you truly are as good as you say then I'll aid you in attacking Jiraya, if you wish me too...'

Tori chuckled as he looked to Avala “just be sure to keep your wits about you when you face Ryu of the Hyuuga clan” he poked his chest with his thumb “I’ve sparred with him plenty of times while we were growing up and we’re pretty much equal in terms of ability”

"A master of the Mileniu Style is rare sight indeed.Very well Avala i acept your invitation.As for aiding me agains Jiraya-sama...wel´see how things go"

Avala cracked a smile and hopped back thre steps, letting go of her swords pommel all together.
'Millenium Style, light from a thousand stars' she said, making severel complex hand-gestures.
Golden light bazed in her eyes for a second before flowing into her skin. Within seconds each finger had a six inch claw of golden light growing from it. Avala's smile widened and her eyes still glowed golden as she dropped into an obscure figting stance.
'It's rare indeed to meet someone who even knows of the Millenium Style, I wonder, have ou ever seen it used?'

"One during my travels.But i only witnessed it from afar not up close"Ryu says as the enters the Hyuuga classic stance"BYAKUGAN"He yells out
"Well then shall we begin?"

Avala nodded once and darted forwards, blurring with her star-given light. She made one dart blow, claws first at Ryu and then dropped ito a crouch and swept her glowing leg under him to try to knock him over

Seeing her attack,Ryu jumps up and backflips away to avoid her leg sweep and dashes at her with his palm ready to strike

Meanwhile at the gates of Konoha:
A strange man aproches the entrance to the town."Halt"Say the guards"No one may enter the town during the tournament"

The man stops and begins to wistle a strange melody.the guards find themselfs surrounded by darkness.They then see all theyr loved ones being slayn one by one by a strange shadow.Then the shadow aproaches them and reveals it self to be...the guards themselvs.This causes the guards to fight and kill each other.then man then continiues his path into the vilage.
"So this is Konohagakure the vilage hidden in leaves.It´s so bright and colorfull and cheerfull...ugh it makes mi sick.But i will soon change that"
He takes out a picture of his main target"Hard to belive that this broad is nearly 60 years old...Acording to intell she has increadible strenght.That just makes it more interesting"

Avala leapt into the air and twisted hard, whipping a blazing food across a the charging Ryu. She smiles at him when she lands.
'While a thousand stars shine on me you'll find it hard to disrupt my chakra flow...' she said still smiling 'I'm not even sure if it's possible, we'll have to find out.'
She throws severel kunai knives at closeby tree's. Each have strange tags on them, similar but not the same as explosive tags.

Her flow of chackra is increadible i have never seen such control over ones chackra.But even the best have weekspots i just have to find it
Ryu watches the trees closely,altough never loosing sight of Avala herself

'Here I come' She hissed
As she spoke she attacked again, slashing with her claws and occasionally lashing out with one of her legs.

Ryu covered hishands in his cahckra to be abble to block her claw attacks and easily avoided her leg sweeps

Avala flinched at how easily her attacks were avoided, she was out of practise.
'Millenium style' She growled 'A thousand tiny cuts'
The Kunai on the tree's exploded and the air hissed, thousnads of shards of metal flew at Ryu. One would do little more than cut him but so many were dangerous. Avala waited to make her atack, the smile back on her lips.

Ryu stops and takes a lower stance:8 TRIGRAMS 361 STYLE"With his chakra covered hands he hits each of the metal shards comming at him as he spinns arround in a 360 degree motion

The moment Ryu completes his rotations Avala strikes again, this time far faster and just using her claws. She strieks several times from the front and then seems to dissapear ina flash of light only to appear behind Ryu to strike at him further.

Tori took a few leaps back to give the two warriors room to move without worrying about accidentally hurting him, he watched Avala with keen interest, and he could tell that Raiju was evaluating her style and power during the match, but he could feel it in the back of his mind, a feeling of darkness, like two sides of the same coin he could feel a powerful electrical chakra in the distance, powerful but unmistakably evil.

Tori's body stiffened as he felt the surge of chakras in the distance that's more than just two shinobi fighting he thought to himself as he allowed his kekkei genkai to flow from his body and sweep the village to find the sources of the chakra, in his minds eye he saw two swirling clouds of chakra on top of the Hokage's mansion, one he recognized as Tsunade's, but the other was new. he realized it was the dark lightning chakra from earlier, he turned to Ryu and shouted "THE HOKAGE'S IN DANGER!" before leaping into the trees and used his chakra to increase his speed to a level beyond any normal human could achieve, within seconds he was gone leaving a streak of rapidly disappearing electrical chackra in his wake.

Justin grasped Zane's shoulder. "There is another lightning type chakra user here. Not like Tori's he was simple overbearing...this one reeks of evil." Justins eyes faded back to their usually dullness. "By the way where is she?"

Tatsumaru makes his way to the Hokage´s Mansion.No one suspects his intentions yet.
"Halt!"say the two guards at the mansion´s entrence"No one is allowed in the mansion during the torunament.Leave now"
"So this is were Tsunade is eh?Well i have some advice for you:leave or be eliminated were you stand"
The guards draw theyr kunais and stand in battle position.Tatsumaru draws his sword but it has no blade only the handle.
"Ha just how are you suposed to hurt us with that?"Say the cocky guards
"Lighthing Style:Lighthning Saber!!!!!!!!"As he says these words,his lighthining chackra begins to create a blade of pure lightning.He strikes down both guards with increadible speed and proceeds trough the mansion.He enters the Hokage´s room and confronts Tsunade

"Tsunade i presume?"He says as he enters the room confronting Tsunade."Who wants to know?"Tsunade asks"Hey are you the one causing the trouble i´v been hearing about?
Indeed i am.But only because those stupid guards tried to stop me.You´r my target anyway so come quietely or i´l have to get rough"
Tsunade looks at Tatsumaru and grins"You realy think you can take me on?Then let´s go to the roof we have more space there"
"Lead the way"Tatsumaru says.They both head to the roof of the mansion and stare each other down.Without saying a word,Tsunade rushes in to use her Heaven Kick Of Pain attack.Tatsumaru manages to dodge it but seeing how much damage it did to the mansion he thinks to himselfMan this broad is strong.Looks like i ´l have to get serious with this one
"No more games you are comming with me weather you like it or not"Tatsumaru shouts.Then black spots apear all over his body.It was the sign of the curse mark being activated.Tsunade rushes to punch him and Tatsumaru rushes to punch her.Theyr fists colide and send a wave of chackra troughout the entire vilage

Ryu feels the wave caused by the clash of the two shinobi.
"Avala wait.Did you feel that?It felt like two enormous forces clashed.One of the was definately lady Tsunade but the other one...We must go to the hokage´s mansion now.Tori..."As he turns arround henotices Tori is no longer there." he must have gone ahead" he tought to himself.Then he leaps in direction of the hokage´s mansion

As Tori neared the Hokage’s mansion he saw the massive wave of chakra explode from the rooftop whoever is behind that chakra, is one serious hombre’ he thought to himself as he could hear Raiju’s low growl in his head we must be fast, Lady Tsunade may be in over her head if we delay the thunder beast growled in Tori’s mind, Tori nodded any delay may result in the elders looking for a Sixth Hokage he quipped, but there was no response from Raiju, Tori smirked “no sense of humor” he said quietly as he reached a rooftop he spotted Tsunade on the ground and a strange shinobi standing over her “HEY!” he yelled as he charged his entire body with lightning chakra “BACK OFF UGLY!” he leaped from the roof and landed barely a few feet from the intruder “if you want to meet the Hokage you need to make an appointment with the receptionist”

Tatsumaru looks at Tori,the curse mark still spreading trough his body.
"Sorry but i needed to see the Hokage urgentely.See her presence is required at Hidden Sound vilage ASAP.And i´m here to take her there.I advise you to not get in my way"

With a few sudden handsigns Tori began to transform his body, his hair began to grow longer and spark with electricity his eyes narrowed and became catlike, and his teeth grew into feline fangs, his nails sharpened into fierce claws, in this form Raiju was more dominant than before “we said.....” he said in a deeper growling voice that almost sounded like two voices speaking as one “...make an appointment” he lunged at the intruder and slashed his electrified claws across Tatsumaru’s chest leaving deep, sparking slashes in their wake.

Tatsumaru jumps back avoiding the claws barely.
"So you have a demon inside you eh?Heh he he he...this isstarting to get interesting".With a few quick hadsnigns Tatsumaru charges his flaming chakra
"FIRE STYLE!GREAT FIREBALL JUTSU!"

Tori grinned “please” he formed a large chunk of lightning chakra in his arms and formed them into a massive wall protecting himself and Tsunade who was right behind him “don’t make this too easy for us” he lunged through the barrier leaving it to protect Tsunade while he fought his opponent “you’ll have to do much better than a simple Fire style jutsu to defeat our level of power” he said with ferocious confidence “we are Tori Makoto of the Hidden leaf and you have become our prey” he formed more lightning chakra into his hands and formed them in to solid blades that he used to slash at his enemy.

"I realy don´t care who you are,you are in my way and you are going down.LIGHTNING STYLE!LIGHTNING SABER!!!!!!"He once again creates a lightning blade on the hilt of his sowerd and uses it to block Tori´s blades

“we sensed your lightning attribute earlier, it does not surprise us” without even blinking, a tail of electicity shot from behind Tori and arced overhead to strike Tatsumaru while Tori had this arms preoccupied with his blades.

"You underestimate me don´t you?The Curse Mark gives me power that goes byond your imagination"Sudenly Tatsumaru´s speed increases greatly and he dodges the tail and with blinding speed get behind the barrier that was protecting Tsunade.He then launches a small bomb at Tori´s feet.The bomb explodes with a bliding flash,bliding Tori for moments.
"Sorry but play time is over i still got a job to do.If you want the Hokage back come and get her"Tatsumaru says as he grabs the Hokage and disapears

Tori closes his eyes “we don’t need to see you to hunt you” he allowed his Kekkei Genkai to lead the way and soon closes in on Tatsumaru “you are ours now” he growls as he does a quick flurry of handsigns “demon arts” he says quietly “lightning trap jutsu!” suddenly a massive net of lightning launches from Tori and strikes Tatsumaru square in the back, the jolt was so fast that not even Tatsumaru could dodge in time.

Justin had watched the drama ensue from they had caught up with Zane and himself tracking Shizune. "...two lightning chakras....interesting enough to watch."

Tatsumaru falls on the ground but quickly gets up.
"MY my a bit reckless aren´t you.We don´t want anything to happen to the Hokage now do we?"He says as he uses Tsunade´s body as a sheild

Zane turned to Justin, they were on the mountain range, having dogged Shinzune's footsteps to this location. He knew she would be just ahead, but also knew she was worried about Tsunade, and with her attention diverted he wouldn't be up to a fair fight. "Justin, does it look like they need help? My eyes can only see so far..."

Tori roared before leaping into the air “hidden mist Jutsu” he roared as a thick cloud enveloped the area “we can see your chakra in this fog, but will you be able to stop us from ripping out your bones?” he suddenly went silent as he landed in the dense fog and allowed his Kekkei Genkai to guide him to where his next attack would be the most effective.

"No...if things go bad we can stop him....actually kets get two birds with one stone. Shizune will go to help the hokage. We save the hokage and snatch the crystal when her guard is down. What do you think?" Justin could feel the static dancing in the air.

Avala watched Ryu bound away, not letting the golden liight which suffused her die. With the light still glrowingf she covered the distance fairly quickly and was soon, once again, perching in a tree watching a battle, or at least watching the space where a battle would be. The mist blocked her from seeing anything, but she could sence the chakra of the two combatants and the powerful force of the Hokage. She had to admit she was slightly scared by the amount of chakra exploding in the mist, she'd never seen quite as much.
Avala decided to help Tori. She bit her thumb and closed her eyes, locating Tatsumaru with her mind. Once found she pressed her hand to the tree's branch and muttered.
'Summing Jutsu!' The seal apeared around her hand 'One thousand years of long service!'
Red demonic chains burst from the eart around Tatsamaru's feet, hundreds of them. Some ended in manacles which had teeth and firey red eyes, they snapped their iron jaws menacingly and darted at him with impressive speed. Half would try and contrict him the others, without teeth would bind the Hokagaes legs, so that if he retreated he wouldnt be able to take her with him.

Zane nodded, "I agree...plus it would also give us a vantage point over the others." He sighed and checked his side pouch and pulled out three shining needles, "Well then...lets go see if the Lady Hokage is in need of service..." He smiled at Justin before becoming a blur and racing towards the action. The amount of chakra in the air radiating from the battle was enough to make his hair stand on end, I wonder if we'll even be able to distract this guy..

Justin clapped his hands together then formed a pole from a chain on his chest. He planted the pole in the ground and forced it to extend firing him into the air like a rocket. Once airborne he took aim at the assailant. After a quick handsign he performed the Ryzoku Shell jutsu and came screeming down like a meteor at the rogue ninja.

Zane could feel the pressure from Justin's chakra and made a mental calculation. He put the needles back into his side pouch and stopped in place. He counted to three and focused all his chakra to his feet, making a quick handsign he bolted from the spot at a speed he hadn't used before becoming unseen save for a passing shadow. He closed his eyes and focused on the pressure of the attacker and headed straight for it.
